John Page’s excellent Math Open Reference site includes the constructions required at GCSE level (examination taken at the end of Key Stage 4 (14-16). The following are required by AQA.
You must show all compass marks clearly, to quote a senior examiner:
‘No arcs, no marks!’
Construct the perpendicular bisector of a line
Construct an equilateral triangle
Construct a perpendicular from a point to a line
Perpendicular at a point on a line
Construct a triangle given 3 sides
